Hello to all readers! ♥ Today I want to show you my current Kimono shoes (zori) and bags. It´s pretty difficult for me to find Zori in my size - I need 24 cm. But the Ebay store ryu.japan has sometimes also shoes in this size and even bigger (24.5 cm, 25 cm e.g.). And so I won this nice Zori with the matching bag: (click on the pic to get the original size) Color: orange-gold Inside the bag was also a little mirror ~ This set suits 3 of my Kuros and my Furisode. ~*~ A short while ago I won this cute more formal Zori: They are 23.5 cm long. I wanted to give this size a try and it is possible. But first it was a lil bit painful to wear them ´cause my feet are rather wide and the frontpart of this Zori is a little bit too small for me. Though I just have to break in them more. Well, the best is that they suit most of my stuff =D I hope that I will get silver Zori in 24 cm oneday ... ~*~ And last but not least another bag. This bag was one of my first Kimono items: This bag is orange, too with kiku (chrysanthemum) on ryusui (flowing water) ~
I am very addicted to Kuro-Tomesode, I am not married, but I love black and elegant designs. Well, I want to show you 2 more Kuros I own ~ (click on the pic to get the original size) Measurements Full length (from bottom till under the collar): 158 cm Sleeve length: 49 cm Span width: 123 cm Motive: kiku (chrysanthemum), momiji (maple), ayame (iris), ume (plum blossom), kikyo (bellflower), sasa (bamboo), fuji (wisteria), seigaiha (semicircular repeated wave), shippou (interlocking circles), kikkou (hexagonal, honeycomb tortoiseshell) and botan (peony) on noshi (paper strips) surrounded by kumihimo (cords) The peonies on this kimono are heavily embroidered which makes them very soft - peonies are one of my fav kimono motives ♥ ~*~ (click on the pic to get the original size) Measurements Full length (from bottom till under the collar): 158 cm Sleeve length: 47 cm Span width: 123 cm Motive: houou (phoenix), momiji (maple), botan (peony), kasamatsu (dense pine branch, 'mushroom' shaped), ume (plum blossom), hagi (bush clover) and kiku (chrysanthemum) This is my mother´s favourite one =D
